From Sausalito to our store

Sausalito is the town at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marin County. From downtown Sausalito the store is about 15 miles by road.

By car, US-101 South crosses the Golden Gate Bridge and carries on through San Francisco; leave it at the Third Street/Cow Palace exit and follow Bayshore Boulevard to the store. US-101’s exits for Sausalito are numbered 445A (Marin City/Sausalito), 444 (Rodeo Avenue), 443 (Spencer Avenue) and 442 (Alexander Avenue), the last exit before the bridge. The toll is charged as you cross into San Francisco, and not on the drive home to Sausalito.

By bus or ferry, then Muni

Two services cross from Sausalito to San Francisco: Golden Gate Transit’s Route 120 bus, which ends at the Salesforce Transit Center, and the Golden Gate Ferry, which lands at the Ferry Building. From either one the rest of the trip is on Muni; the T Third line’s last stop, Sunnydale, is on Bayshore Blvd, the street our store is on.

A town on the water

Downtown Sausalito runs along Bridgeway, on the waterfront, and the ferry to San Francisco leaves from downtown. At the north end of the waterfront more than 400 houseboats are moored, a community that grew up after the Second World War by the former Marinship shipyards.

Bring your ID
